In a while, it's adios to the old year, and hola to the new.

It's been a satisfactory year, I would say, but for some reason, much longer than any previous year. Too eventful a year, perhaps. Got a job, got my 'A' level results, got my driving license, got a place in university. Lost a routine, uniform-wearing life, lost more than a few friends to overseas studies, lost a nephew. When I look back, 2006 seems like such a long time ago.

But life goes on, and here I stand, ready to embrace 2008 with open arms.
